Ben Robertson

Our campus minister, Ben Robertson is a graduate of Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Mo. He and his wife Dawn moved to Williamsburg in the summer of 2006. They have four children ages 6-13. The Robertsons love college students, RUF and the College of William & Mary and are glad to serve you in any way they can. Contact Ben at brobertson@ruf.org.

Dawn is a native of Virginia and and alum of Virginia Commonwealth University where she majored in Art Education. Along with being a mom, Dawn continues to enjoy watercolor, pottery, and photography when she manages to find the time. The kids enjoy Pixar, dance parties, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Nintendo Switch, soccer, making stop-motion and trick shot videos, and having "RUF friends" over to the house for BBQ.

Chelsea Kelly

Chelsea is a long-time Midwesterner who has quickly learned to love Virginia! She grew up in Iowa and studied math and linguistics at Northwestern University before attending Covenant Seminary. She has worked for RUF at University of Nebraska and Mary Baldwin University and is now so excited to be on the team at William & Mary! She finds it a true privilege to get to walk with college students as they deepen their faith and relationship with Jesus. Chelsea loves art museums, college football, and baking, and she will immediately like you if you let her give you baked goods. Contact her at chelsea.kelly@ruf.org.

Student Leaders

While RUF has two full time staff to lead, counsel, teach, and pastor students, at the end of the day RUF is first and foremost a ministry TO students THROUGH students. Our Ministry Team leaders plan events, lead Bible studies, pray for the campus and the RUF community, organize outreach, and just in general are the core of the ministry of RUF in every way. We’d love to get connected with you. Reach out to us on our TribeLink or contact Ben or Chelsea and they can pass on our info to you.*

*RUF wants to keep student personal info private on the website, hence the need to ask our Staff or go through TribeLink.
